Yes. When producing purlins in any size from C80 to C300, there is no need to change any rollers, shims, or tools. ❓ Can it handle material thickness from 1.2mm to 3.5mm? What adjustments are needed?
Yes. For thicker materials (3.0mm and above), we recommend configuring 19 forming stations for better forming results. When changing thickness, the operator needs to manually adjust the roller gap of the leveling device and fine-tune the decoiler damping – these operations are detailed in the manual and can be completed within minutes.
❓ Is the cutting accuracy of ±1.5mm truly achievable? Will it drift during mass production?
±1.5mm is the accuracy specification under normal working conditions. The PC80-300 uses a high-resolution encoder with variable frequency closed-loop control to effectively reduce feeding errors. If your order requires extremely high length accuracy (e.g., within ±1mm), we recommend the optional servo feeding system, which can improve accuracy to ±0.5mm.
❓ Can punching be done on both the web and flange simultaneously? Can hole positions be freely set?
Yes. The punching system consists of two sets of devices – front punching and rear punching – corresponding to the flange and web respectively. You can freely set parameters on the touch screen including the number of holes, hole spacing, starting position, and whether to punch at intervals. Note that punching on the web and flange is sequential (completed one after another when the machine stops).
❓ Can this machine produce Z purlins, or only C purlins?
The PC80-300 is specifically designed for C purlins. If you need to produce both C and Z purlins, you may be interested in our CZ interchangeable model – by changing a small number of rollers and adjusting some stations, this model can switch between C and Z purlin production on one machine. Of course, a dedicated Z purlin machine will offer better production efficiency.
