Can One Cold Roll Forming Machine Produce Multiple Profiles?

✅ Yes — if your profiles share similar material thickness and geometry family. Here's when it works and when it doesn't.

✅ Works when:

• Profiles are within same material gauge (e.g., 1.5mm–2.5mm steel)
• Web width and flange height change gradually, not drastically
• You install quick-change cassette tooling (changeover ≤ 20 min for us)

❌ Does NOT work when:

• Material thickness jumps from 2mm to 6mm — different machine needed
• Closed shapes (tube, square) — dedicated roll former required
• Tight tolerances (±0.5mm) on completely different geometries

• Send us your 3–5 most different profiles
• We'll tell you: one machine or two — no upselling
